PO — Public Opinion (“PO”) uses YouTube API Services to provide certain video-related features within the application. When a user chooses to connect a Google/YouTube account, PO may request authorization through Google OAuth 2.0 to access the YouTube features and data necessary to provide those functions.
YouTube API Data and Permissions
Depending on the features used and permissions granted by the user, PO may access information associated with the user’s Google/YouTube account and may use YouTube API Services to allow users to upload videos to their own YouTube channel and display YouTube-hosted video content within PO. PO only requests Google/YouTube permissions necessary to provide the applicable user-facing functionality.
PO does not sell Google or YouTube user data. Google/YouTube user data obtained through API Services is not sold or transferred to advertising platforms, data brokers, or information resellers, and is not used for personalized or interest-based advertising.
Videos uploaded through PO using YouTube API Services are hosted by YouTube and remain subject to YouTube’s policies and the user’s YouTube account settings.
Google and YouTube Policies
By using features that interact with YouTube, users acknowledge that those features use YouTube API Services and are also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service:
https://www.youtube.com/t/terms
Information received from Google and YouTube is handled in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable Google policies. Users should also review the Google Privacy Policy:
https://policies.google.com/privacy
Revoking Google/YouTube Access
Users may revoke PO’s access to their Google/YouTube account at any time through their Google Account security settings:
https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions
Where supported within PO, users may also disconnect or remove their Google/YouTube authorization through the application. When authorization is revoked, PO will cease accessing the user’s authorized YouTube data and will revoke applicable authorization tokens as required.
Deletion of Google/YouTube Data
Users may request deletion of Google/YouTube user data stored by PO by deleting their PO account through the application’s account-deletion functionality or by contacting PO at info@peovo.com. Following revocation or a valid deletion request, applicable authorized YouTube API data stored by PO will be deleted as soon as possible and within the period required by YouTube’s Developer Policies.
Deleting information stored by PO does not delete information or videos stored directly by YouTube. Users who wish to delete content stored on YouTube must do so through YouTube or another authorized YouTube client.
PO’s access, use, storage, and sharing of information received from Google APIs will comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
